I just realized that I didn’t post anything about us making it home, so we’re home!
Cam was tired, but was able to down a milkshake for lunch. He tried to lay down and sleep in the car, but that’s didn’t seem to work, so he crashed for a few hours after we got home around 3PM or so. But he got up after that and had dinner and just went to bed.
His stitches are starting to bug him and he can’t wash his hair until Sunday, so he’s pretty peeved about that, but Mandy’s shower cap is very fetching on him.
At this point, we wait for about 4-6 week to see how his brain recovers. Then we can really start watching for a lack of seizures. He’ll still be taking his medications, and if he has a long enough period of seizure freedom, we can wean him off of them and see if that works.
